Cheryl Hines, the wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is currently on a press tour promoting her memoir, Unscripted.
Last year, during her husband's presidential run, a Variety reporter asked him if he would be willing to become Donald Trump's running mate. He replied,
"I don’t think that my marriage would survive it,"citing his marriage to Hines, who added,
"I think he’s right."
Although Kennedy did not become Trump's running mate, he later endorsed him, and their marriage seems to have survived. On a recent episode of The View, Hines defended her husband's views and qualifications, including his stance on health misinformation and his potential to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.
