Israel Says Body Returned by Hamas is Not a Hostage
Israel has stated that one of the four bodies received from Hamas does not match any of the hostages that were in the group's custody.
The discovery was made following examinations at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine.
Hamas is required to make all necessary efforts to return the deceased hostages,
said the military on Wednesday. The handover occurred after an Israeli military agency warned that aid deliveries to Gaza would be slashed due to Hamas not returning remains as agreed under the ceasefire deal.
The identity of the fourth body in the hostage handover remains unknown, with Netanyahu demanding that Hamas fulfills the terms of the ceasefire deal.
