Robert Irwin's Emotional Dance Dedication
Robert Irwin, a 21-year-old wildlife conservationist, broke down after his emotional dance dedication to his mom, Terri Irwin, on "Dancing with the Stars".
He dedicated his dance to all mothers and anyone experiencing grief after loss, including his own grief over the loss of his late father, Steve Irwin.
"It was really hard to express that and really hard to actually get through a dance while internally you’re processing and getting all of these emotions out there,"
Robert told reporters backstage, after a performance that left the audience and judges in tears, including Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba.
Terri Irwin joined her son at the end of the dance, making the moment even more emotional.
