Road Work to Impact Local Traffic to Highway 22 in Blue Earth County
The Minnesota Department of Transportation reports that construction on the Highway 22 Mankato to St. Peter project is progressing well.
Drivers using Blue Earth County Road for Highway 22 access during construction should be aware that starting the week of October 20th, Blue Earth County Road 2 will be closed for approximately 2–3 weeks for construction of the new alignment.
The highway is expected to reopen for the winter months, before construction resumes in spring 2026.
