Liberty Hall to reprise its role as an opera house for centennial anniversary screening with live piano accompaniment

Liberty Hall Celebrates Centennial Anniversary

To commemorate 100 years of movies, Liberty Hall will host a screening of "Phantom of the Opera" with live piano accompaniment, reviving its role as an opera house.

The building initially opened as a movie theater in the 1924-1925 season, but its history dates back to 1882 when it was renovated as the Bowersock Opera House.

The black-and-white horror film will be made all the more eerie by Liberty Hall’s history as the Bowersock Opera House.

Author's summary: Liberty Hall marks 100 years of movies with a special screening.
