Porsche has always made great EVs, and as I learned on a 300-plus-mile trip, it's still getting better at this every year.
Porsche is getting ready to launch an all-electric version of the Cayenne, a big deal since the Cayenne is arguably the most important modern Porsche, and the company's first SUV at the turn of the millennium.
The electric Cayenne, or "E4", is emerging as a new tech flagship, going beyond even the Taycan in some ways, while Porsche will continue to sell the gas-powered Cayenne for the foreseeable future.
I wanted to see if what is now Porsche's biggest, heaviest EV could still be a range champ.
