Orlando's family history of special needs and her own genetic predisposition to fragile X syndrome (FXS) led her to undergo in-vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing (PGT). This allowed her to test embryos for genetic disorders before pregnancy.
- Orlando underwent one round of IVF, resulting in 10 embryos.
