"Beyond the Waves: Deaf Art" Exhibit at Gallaudet University
The Linda K. Jordan Gallery at Gallaudet University is hosting an exhibition titled "Beyond the Waves: Deaf Art" featuring over 30 Deaf artists from around the world.
- Exhibit dates: September 29, 2025 - April 3, 2026
- Honors the history of De'VIA (Deaf View/Image Art) and Deaf visual culture worldwide
- Traces Deaf art from early resistance to contemporary expressions and future visions
The exhibition is part of a campus-wide arts experience during Homecoming 2025, aligned with the Deaf Way Film Festival and the renovation of Gallaudet's House One.
