Taylor Swift Fans Flood German Museum

A German museum has been overrun by Taylor Swift fans due to a painting that resembles a scene from her video "The Fate of Ophelia".

The Hessische Landesmuseum in Wiesbaden saw hundreds of additional visitors over the weekend, including a family from Hamburg and many American families stationed at a US base.

The main attraction is an Art Nouveau painting by Friedrich Heyser featuring Ophelia, a character from William Shakespeare's play Hamlet.

The painting bears a striking resemblance to the opening scene of Swift's current No. 1 hit video, "The Fate of Ophelia"

Museum spokesperson Susanne Hirschmann confirmed the influx of visitors to the Associated Press.
