Government Launches First Digital ID
The UK government has rolled out the first digital ID as part of its plan to digitalize almost every form of ID in the country.
The new digital ID, announced on September 26, is dubbed "Britcards" and aims to tackle illegal immigration by making it a requirement for citizens' right to live and work in the UK.

- The first digital IDs, called digital veteran cards, are available for ex-members of the armed services.
