Uniswap Expands Web App To Support Solana Network
Decentralized exchange Uniswap has rolled out native support for the Solana blockchain on its web application, enabling users to connect Solana wallets and swap Solana tokens directly within the Uniswap interface.
Starting today, users can access Solana’s ecosystem through the same Uniswap Web App that already supports Ethereum, Unichain, Base, and more than a dozen other networks.
Solana is now live on the Uniswap Web App
The upgrade eliminates the need to leave the app in order to trade Solana assets. According to Uniswap’s announcement, Ethereum and Solana remain two of the largest ecosystems in decentralized finance (DeFi) but have until now developed independently.
This separation has created user friction, since traders often had to switch between wallets and applications to interact with different networks.
