Advocates for Children of Rural Nevada (ACORN), a foster youth advocacy organization, is hosting a Hawaii Vacation Raffle to raise funds.
Tickets for a one-week getaway in Kauai are limited to 350. ACORN relies heavily on grants, but with federal funding terminated in April, the nonprofit needs alternative funding sources.
Aloha friends of ACORN! I am excited to announce that we are raffling another one-week vacation to Kauai, Hawaii to be used anytime in the year 2026!
According to ACORN Executive Director Kathie McKenna, the raffle will help offset the loss of grant funding. The organization is ramping up fundraising activities to continue providing services to foster youth in Nye and Esmeralda counties.
