An early morning crash in the Powers community resulted in two people being injured and a power outage at 2:30.
The accident involved a Ford Expedition SUV that went off-road and struck a three-phase Dixie Electric Power Association pole, snapping it and landing in a nearby ditch.
Both patients were transported to South Central Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A number of Dixie EPA customers were without power Friday morning while restoration efforts were underway.
