Autistic Man Spends Nearly Three Weeks in Jail
Casey Christopher, a 27-year-old autistic man, was arrested and spent 19 days in jail after repeatedly wandering away from his state-contracted group home.
According to his family, the agency responsible for his safety has failed him, leading to his arrest. His mother, Shirley Christopher, stated:
This is an ongoing situation for nine years. Nine years of his life.
