Ukrainian Forces Achieve Success in Zaporizhzhya Region
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated the village of Malye Shcherbaki and raised the Ukrainian national flag over it.
According to reports, units of the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar" and the 33rd assault regiment liberated the village and moved forward by 3.5 kilometers, extending the line of control on a section of the front about five kilometers wide.
The villages of Shcherbaki and partially Stepovoye were also liberated, which were considered important strongholds of the Russian defense.
The enemy had been strengthening these strongholds since spring.
The operation is a significant success for the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhya direction.
