Banned Tobacco and Pan Masala Seized in Nagpur

A significant stock of banned flavoured tobacco and pan masala worth Rs. 1.25 lakh was seized in Jaripatka, Nagpur, in a raid conducted by the Social Security Unit of the Nagpur Police.

The raid was carried out at Paragon godown, located near Chawla Chowk on Janata Hospital Road, Jaripatka, at around 2:30 pm on Friday, based on reliable intelligence.

The operation uncovered a large quantity of various types of flavoured tobacco and pan masala, which are banned under government regulations, stored illegally by Ishwar Panjumal Budrani, 44, with the intention of selling them for personal financial gain.

The seized items are worth Rs. 1.25 lakh and were stored in the godown owned by Ishwar Panjumal Budrani.

The Social Security Unit of the Nagpur Police conducted the raid as part of a major crackdown against illegal sale and storage of banned tobacco products.
