Postgame Shooting at Alcorn State University
A wave of weekend shootings in Mississippi has resulted in at least nine deaths and over 20 injuries, following high school and college football games.
On Saturday, two shootings after college football games in Mississippi left one person dead and two others injured. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) is investigating a shooting at Alcorn State University in Lorman.
According to MBI, officers responded to a call of shots fired near the Industrial Technology Building at approximately 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found three individuals with apparent gunshot wounds, one of whom received fatal injuries.

The shooting occurred after Alcorn State University's football game against Lincoln University on campus Saturday afternoon.
