Accident in Pattaya
A 14-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured after running a red light and colliding with a car on Sukhumvit Road in central Pattaya.
The motorcyclist sustained multiple abrasions and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The black Yamaha Grand Filano motorbike was heavily damaged.
About 10 meters away, a white Honda Jazz driven by 29-year-old Alongkorn Suwansri was found. He remained at the scene to cooperate with police.
"I panicked and acted quickly without watching the traffic properly,"
he said. The incident occurred early Saturday morning.
Rescue and police teams arrived promptly to provide assistance and investigate the scene.
