University of Denver students participated in the innovative course, "Ways of Seeing & Sensing," at the Kennedy Mountain Campus.
The curriculum, developed by the Departments of Biological Sciences, Physics & Astronomy, and Media, Film & Journalism Studies, brought students together to explore biology, ecology, astronomy, filmmaking, science communication, and storytelling.
The course was co-taught by Joe Brown, Jennifer Hoffman, and Julie Morris, and offered a location-based learning experience centered on the idea that how we "see" or "sense" the world shapes our understanding of it.
