A team of Polish anglers believe they have caught a new world-record Wels catfish during a tournament, measuring roughly 9.6-feet long.
The fish, which measured 292 centimeters, could replace the previous unofficial length record of a 285-centimeter Wels caught in Italy's River Po in 2023.
"The haul took over an hour and a half,"said Krzysztof Pyra, one of the anglers.
