Pacific Storm to Bring Heavy Showers and Storms
A Pacific storm system is approaching, expected to bring significant rain chances to the area, with potential rainfall of 1–2+ inches in some areas, especially on Friday night.
According to Meteorologist Siobhain Anders, the storm system is currently off the coast of California, but is expected to move across the desert southwest and into the South Central Plains, dragging a cold front through the region.
Today, drier and more comfortable air is expected, with mostly cloudy skies in the morning and possible patchy fog, but sunshine will return in the afternoon as humidity drops.
Rain chances increase Friday, especially Friday night, with the potential for 1–2+ inches of rainfall in some areas.
