Retired NFL Player Isaac Rochell Takes on Marathon Challenge

Retired NFL defensive end Isaac Rochell, 29, has admitted that training for a marathon is "way harder than football" as he prepares to run the Chicago Marathon with a target finish time of 3:15.

Rochell, who played for the Chargers, Colts, Browns, and Raiders for seven years, announced his retirement from football on his wife Allison Kuch's Sunday Sports Club podcast, stating he's "super happy to be done" and "really accomplished".

"I went from wearing this jersey [NFL shirt] to this jersey [marathon bib]."

Rochell is now focusing on marathon running, which he finds to be a very different kind of challenge that requires discipline and hard work.
