iOS 26.1 Update: New Features for iPhone
The upcoming iOS 26.1 update includes several new features and changes for iPhones, currently in beta testing.
The update is expected to be released in the first half of November and is compatible with the iPhone 11 series and newer, although some features are limited to newer models.
New Features in iOS 26.1
- Liquid Glass design toggle: choose between "Clear" and "Tinted" options in Settings > Display and Brightness > Liquid Glass
- "Slide to stop" for alarms in the Clock app
iOS 26.1 lets you choose your preferred look for Liquid Glass.
Other features and changes are also included in the update, which will be available for iPhone 11 series and newer models.
