Kochendorfer Defends Stubbs Board Actions
The October monthly meeting of the Stubbs town board took place on Monday, October 2025.
Town supervisor Annie Huiras was absent due to a family accident. A moment of silence was requested, which Chair Dave Kochendorfer granted.
During the moment of silence, audience member Orvin Bystol began reciting the Lord's Prayer. Kochendorfer asked him to be quiet, but Bystol continued, with others joining in.
Kochendorfer then asked Bystol to leave for being disruptive, which he did. Two sheriff's deputies arrived 20 minutes into the meeting, as previously requested by the board.
