Extension Homemakers Week Celebration
Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers, along with other Extension Homemakers Clubs in Indiana, will celebrate Extension Homemaker's Week from Oct. 22-25.
In Kosciusko County, there are 10 clubs with 100 members and 22 Mailbox members, who can attend any or all of the Kosciusko County Extension events.
Achievements of Indiana Extension Homemakers
During the 2024-2025 program year, the Indiana Extension Homemakers:
- Donated 157,496.5 volunteer hours, valued at $5,479,303
- Donated $224,407 to various causes
- Made 285 "Shawls of Compassion"
- Collected 218 lbs. of pop tabs
- Donated $3,367.00 for cancer research
- Provided 750-plus hygiene kits for the needy
- Donated 5,521 items to Riley Cheer Guild or Ronald McDonald House
