Former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

Mrs. Johnson Sirleaf described the late Mrs. Rawlings as a woman of strength, faith, and purpose, noting that their relationship went beyond diplomacy.
She recalled her admiration for the Rawlings family, particularly for their eldest daughter, whom she described as a promising leader among African women.
