Residents of Jefferson Chalmers are exploring a seawall repair program to alleviate FEMA flood zone restrictions.

- Reinforced seawalls could remove the neighborhood from a FEMA flood hazard area, according to an Army Corps study.

said Dan Piepszowski, a resident of Harbor Island.
Councilmember Latisha Johnson is working to make seawall grant program applications available to the public by spring.
