Lydia Herrick and Mae Dubois each recorded a goal and an assist, leading fifth-seeded Skowhegan to a 3-0 win over 12th-seeded Cony in a Class B North girls soccer prelim Friday in Skowhegan.
- Morgan Flannery also scored and Madi Flannery was credited with an assist as the River Hawks (13-1-1) advanced to a quarterfinal.
- Natalie Cooke made three saves for Skowhegan.
- Onge of Cony (3-8-4) turned aside eight shots.
Additionally, Temple Academy defeated Mountain Valley 5-1, with Sofia Isgro scoring a hat trick for the seventh-seeded Bereans (9-5) against the 10th-seeded Falcons (2-10-1) in a South prelim in Waterville.
