Her cousin revealed she was under immense pressure to alter post-mortem and fitness reports, affecting her professional integrity. Despite her repeated complaints to senior police authorities and a letter written to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, no effective action was taken.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister ordered the immediate suspension of the accused officers and mandated a thorough investigation.
