Dodgers Leave Alex Vesia Off World Series Roster
The Dodgers have left lefty relief pitcher Alex Vesia off their World Series roster due to a "deeply personal family matter."

Manager Dave Roberts stated that Vesia is "most likely" to miss the entire series. The team has adjusted their bullpen, adding right-handers Edgardo Henriquez and Will Kl.
Vesia's absence is due to a personal family matter he and his wife, Kayla, are dealing with. The Dodgers could have put him on family bereavement leave, but this would have limited his absence to 3-7 days.
Now, Vesia can only be added to the roster as a replacement for an injured player. The team will be thinking of him during the series.
