Before the game, 8 Ole Miss's players and coaches had a 50 percent chance of making the College Football Playoff. However, after the Rebels' 34-26 win against No. 13 Oklahoma, their chances have increased significantly.
The Rebels will host South Carolina, The Citadel, and Florida over the next three weeks before playing the Egg Bowl game against Mississippi State in Starkville, which is considered the hardest game on their schedule.
