The Hauser Fire Department in Oregon is persevering after its building was destroyed in a blaze three weeks ago.
Despite the challenges, the department is currently operating from a donated RV. Chief Jerry Wharton notes that working out of a vehicle poses significant difficulties.
"Every time you turn around you have another challenge because you go to do stuff like normal, that stuff’s not there anymore,"
Chief Wharton emphasizes the importance of adapting to these challenges, stating that it is something the department does regularly in their response efforts.
The department was allowed to share an update from the charred remains of their former station, showcasing their resilience in the face of adversity.
