Since then, she’s recovered and kept her powder dry, making a high-profile appearance on Taylor Swift’s Florida!!!, a more covert one on The Weeknd’s Reflections Laughing and sneaking out a smattering of covers.

She’s now working alongside Idles guitarist Mark Bowen and Everybody Scream is both a re-statement of what made her so beguiling and a gentle step forwards.
