A 58-year-old man with a less-than-ideal driving history was caught driving twice in 10 minutes while disqualified, according to police.
The man was stopped in South Bathurst, with the second location being approximately one kilometer from the first, police said.
Said Abi-Merhi, 58, of Stewart Street, Mitchell, appeared in Bathurst Local Court on October 1, 2025, to be sentenced on two charges of driving during a disqualification period.
He's completed a referral into treatment program, court hears.
Police documents stated that a Holden Rodeo was seen traveling west on Lloyds Road, South Bathurst, at around 6:10pm on April 10, 2025, and was stopped for roadside testing.
