49er World Championship
Diego Botín and Florian Trittel Paul of Spain captured their first 49er World Championship after years of near-misses.
They returned to the 49er after nearly a year away and looked right at home, smiling their way through the regatta and topping it off with victory.
The Dutch duo Bart Lambriex van Aanholt and Floris van de Werken settled for silver.
