According to political strategist Bradley Tusk, online voting is a potential solution to low voter turnout in the US.

Tusk, a venture capitalist and founder of Tusk Philanthropies, has invested $10 million in efforts to bring mobile voting to all US elections.

Tusk's background includes working as Uber's first political advisor, campaign manager for Mike Bloomberg's 2009 mayoral race, and communications director for US Senator Chuck Schumer.
