Arkansas Baseball Team Wins Exhibition Game
The Arkansas baseball team defeated Dallas Baptist 5-3 in an exhibition game at Baum-Walker Stadium.
A big seventh inning gave the Razorbacks the lead, and superb defensive play secured the victory.
- Arkansas left fielder Brenton Clark made a crucial catch to end the top of the ninth inning, robbing DBU catcher Mac Rose of a 2-run home run.
“Right when it was hit we knew it was going to go to the fence. We just didn’t know if it was quite going to get over it,”
said Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn, praising Clark's perfectly timed leap on the wind-aided ball.
