Mike Santana has become a champion after defeating Trick Williams for the TNA World title at Sunday's TNA Bound for Glory in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Santana won the match after dodging Williams' Trick Shot, blocking an uranage, and landing a flying lariat and discus lariat to secure the pin.
- Santana was about to be presented with the title by TNA head Carlos Silva.
- Nic Nemeth attempted to cash in his Call Your Shot gauntlet title shot, but was interrupted by Elias, who returned from injury.
- Frankie Kazarian also tried to cash in, but was unable to do so because he didn't have the trophy.
Mike Santana can now call himself a singles champion in a major promotion.
