Hilary Duff Reveals She Doesn’t Remember Recording ‘What Dreams Are Made Of’

In a recent episode of Therapuss with Jake Shane, Hilary Duff admitted she has no memory of recording the song "What Dreams Are Made Of" from The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

The 2003 film featured one of Duff’s most iconic performances, but during the interview, she candidly shared her surprise about the experience.

"I don’t even remember recording that song," said Duff. "But I will say now I love it. And when I was filming the movie, I loved it. It was just — it was a weird time."

Jake Shane, 26, mentioned that he recently rewatched the film and described Duff’s performance as “poetic.” He humorously added that he was “also really high but it was fantastic.”

"No... very much, no. Absolutely not," Duff replied when Shane asked if she felt the song was amazing at the time.

The actress, now 38, explained that the track wasn’t entirely her own creation.

"It wasn’t technically my song. It was a Lizzie McGuire song," she clarified, noting she was only 14 when she recorded it.
