Academy Players Prepare for Remembrance Sunday

As Remembrance Sunday approaches, Wolves Academy players have been honoring those who served and deepening their understanding of history from the club’s Old Gold perspective.

Commemoration at Compton Park

Last Friday, the under-12 team planted a memorial tree at Compton Park to honor Wolves players who served in both World Wars. Vicar Anne Martin attended, while the children read aloud the names of each individual and shared a commemorative poem expressing their gratitude and reflection.

The ceremony concluded a meaningful week of remembrance for the young players. Activities included:
