A low-pressure system in the Gulf of Alaska is moving in, bringing wet weather to southeast Alaska and moisture that will trigger snowfall in southcentral regions this November. Snow will begin around midday and persist through the evening.
- Heaviest snowfall will occur in higher elevations and some coastal areas.
- Anchorage may see accumulations ranging from 1 to 4 inches.
- Hillside areas could experience up to 6 inches of snow.
- Coastal southcentral temperatures are expected to rise above freezing, causing precipitation to switch from snow to rain.
