About the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery - who we are
As part of the Duchy of Cornwall, our nursery has been under the stewardship of Prince Charles for many years. His environmental values influence our work.
www.duchyofcornwallnursery.co.ukThe Duchy of Cornwall Nursery is a private estate-operated garden center in Lostwithiel, Cornwall after a 50-year growth plan and new developments such as a newer extension, retail space, and Orangery restaurant. The Prince of Wales visited in July 2023 to see the extension, glasshouse, and gardens. Funds from the Duchy support the Duke’s public, private, and charitable activities. Located on the Duchy estate forming a key estate operation within Duchy lands that opened to the public in 1975. The site has grown through a 50-year plan. It is widely regarded as one of the South West’s leading nurseries. The Duchy nursery continues to expand facilities including a new extension and maintains a focus on nature and horticulture.
