Daytime events join the festival alongside Vivid Light, Music, Minds, and Food, adding aerial and daytime performances, and cultural institution partnerships. NSW government frames it as a driver for Sydney's visitor and night-time economies, aiming to grow the visitor economy to $91 billion in the next decade. Over 1.2 million attended in week one of 2025, pointing to robust public engagement and expanding reach.
