Aussie Rider Wins Moto2 at Island
20-year-old Senna Agius has become the first Australian rider to win a Moto2 race at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
He secured a historic victory at Phillip Island, taking the chequered flag ahead of Colombian David Alonso and Brazilian Diogo Moreira.
"The most mentally-demanding race because the laps felt so long,"
Agius said, describing the conditions as challenging with "no grip" and "crazy wind" that required adjustments to the braking zones.
