The journey to serious gardening began about three years ago, starting with a few tomato plants. This endeavor has evolved into a cycle of learning about new plants, understanding how to grow them, and persisting through constant failure until success is achieved.

Reflecting on the experience, despite the trials and failures, the process feels remarkably easy in retrospect. The fascination with the creation of things has been a longstanding interest, dating back to childhood when sewing, knitting, and baking were first learned.

The hours of cooking, gardening, and making clothes have really made one thing very clear: it takes a lot of time, effort, and money to sustain our lives.

This realization highlights the substantial resources that are often carelessly discarded. The pandemic served as a catalyst, with thousands of people, including the author, dedicating time to making bread and crocheting clothes, captivated by the creative process.
