Security Alert in Craigavon Ends
A security alert in Craigavon has ended, according to Inspector Nicholas Woods.
Police attended the report of a suspicious object being found in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon on Sunday afternoon, October 26.
Officers, alongside Ammunition Technical Officers (ATO), examined the device and removed it for further forensic examination. A number of local residents had to be evacuated from the area.
- Residents were thanked for their patience during the safety operation.
- Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 761 26/10/25.
