Elections 2025: Left Consolidates as Third Force in Buenos Aires
The Left Front, led by Del Caño, has secured two seats in Congress after obtaining almost 450 thousand votes in the Province of Buenos Aires.
In a highly polarized election, La Libertad Avanza won against Fuerza Patria, despite suffering a loss in the provincial elections on September 7.
- The Left Front surpassed 5% of the votes, with significant results in the strategic third electoral section.
- Nicolás del Caño and Romina del Plá will occupy the two seats, taking office in December.
Out of 35 seats up for renewal in Buenos Aires, 17 will go to La Libertad Avanza and 16 to Peronism.
