Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Zander Mueth aims for an injury-free 2026 season and improved strike throwing.
Mueth was drafted 67th in 2023, with the Pirates investing nearly $1.8 million to sign him away from the University of Mississippi.

Mueth debuted in the 2024 Florida Complex League, going 6-1 with a 1.58 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 51.1 innings.
He was later promoted to the Low-A Bradenton Marauders, posting a 3.97 ERA in seven starts.
