New I-95 Bridge Costs Lower Than Expected
The cost for a new I-95 bridge at the GreenCity site has been estimated at nearly half of Henrico's 2023 estimate.
"The construction market is constantly changing and we are pleased that the costs came in lower than initially anticipated a few years ago,”
said Public Works Director Terrell Hughes, regarding the $17 million bid. The planned road extension and bridge will connect Magellan Parkway with Brook Road across I-95.
