Surf Stories on Tour
A Cornish documentary featuring unique archive footage from the 70s and local surf legends is set to feature as part of a new UK tour.
The tour will bring powerful stories of surf, resilience, and community to over 17 cinemas across the UK. The documentary, "Finding San Nicolas", by Martin Dorey, features renowned surfboard craftsman Roger Tout and revisits the golden era of surf travel with surf legend John Cutts.
"I knew the first time filmmaker Lea Judge and I saw them – we just had to do something with the rolls of Super 8,"
said Dorey. The documentary showcases the pair's wild adventure to Gran Canaria in the 1970s, captured on six rolls of Super 8 Film, which they describe as "paradise on earth".
